繼推行電子病假紙和電子到診紙後，周五起，醫管局發出的產/病假證明書和產假證明書，也會採用電子簽署並設有電子版本，取代傳統的人手簽署紙本證明書。核實電子醫療證明書（俗稱「病假紙」）的方法也因應發出日期而有不同操作。

由於官方未有詳細資料提供，未知新方法是否必須安裝醫健通才可順利查閱。另外，醫管局現階段仍會為病人列印電子醫療證明書。

Following the rollout of electronic sick leave certificates and attendance certificates, starting this Friday, maternity/sick leave certificates and maternity leave certificates issued by the HA will also use electronic signatures and be available in electronic versions, replacing traditional manually signed paper certificates. The method for verifying electronic medical certificates (commonly known as “sick leave certificates”) will differ depending on the date of issuance.
🔖 Verifying electronic medical certificates issued on or before April 23, 2026:
Scan the QR code in the top right corner of the electronic certificate 👉 Enter the patient’s English name and the date of the leave 👉 View the verification results.
🔖 Verifying electronic medical certificates issued from April 24, 2026, onwards:
Scan the QR code in the top right corner of the electronic certificate 👉 The page will redirect to the eHealth “Medical Certificate Verification Platform” (no data entry required) 👉 View the verification results.
As official detailed information has not yet been provided, it is currently unknown whether the eHealth app must be installed to view the results successfully. Additionally, at this stage, the Hospital Authority will still provide printed copies of the electronic medical certificates for patients.
