Vendor Terms

Last Updated: 27 Oct 2026

These Vendor Terms apply to all software providers and companies (“Vendors”) who claim their profiles, become Verified Vendors, or submit materials to SoftMap for listing purposes.

  1. Intellectual Property License By providing SoftMap with your company logo, product screenshots, descriptions, and other related materials (collectively, “Vendor Content”), you grant SoftMap Limited a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and format the Vendor Content on our platform for the purpose of directory listing.

  2. Representations and Warranties By submitting Vendor Content and/or paying the listing fee, you represent and warrant that:
    • You are an authorized representative of the company with the authority to bind the company to these terms.
    • The Vendor Content provided is accurate, up-to-date, and does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy, or any other rights of any third party.
  1. Content Management SoftMap reserves the right to review, format, modify, or remove any Vendor Content that violates our policies or is deemed inappropriate, at our sole discretion.

  2. Indemnity The Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SoftMap Limited from any claims, damages, or legal liabilities arising from the Vendor Content provided or any misrepresentation made by the Vendor.

  3. Marketing & Branding

5.1 License to Use Branding: The Vendor grants SoftMap a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the Vendor’s company name, trademarks, and logos in SoftMap’s marketing materials, websites, and promotional content during the Vendor’s active Verified Vendor period.

5.2 Editorial Control & Removal Request: SoftMap retains absolute editorial control over all marketing content it creates. Should the Vendor be dissatisfied with any specific content featuring its name or logo, the Vendor’s sole remedy is to request the removal of its branding (name and logo) from that specific material. The Vendor acknowledges and agrees that it has no right to dictate, demand modifications, or compel edits to the substantive underlying content created by SoftMap.

5.3 Third-Party Platforms: If the marketing content in question has been published on third-party platforms (e.g., social media, external forums, or partner websites) and the Vendor exercises its right to request branding removal under Section 5.2, SoftMap will promptly submit a modification or takedown request to the respective platform. However, SoftMap bears no liability for any delays, as the actual execution and processing time are strictly subject to the third-party platform’s operational policies.

5.4 Post-Termination Survival of Content: Any marketing content, articles, or promotional materials created and published by SoftMap during the Vendor’s active Verified Vendor period shall remain the property of SoftMap. Upon expiration or termination of your Verified Vendor status, SoftMap is under no obligation to retroactively delete, unpublish, or alter any historical marketing materials that contain the Vendor’s name or logo.
