2026年Q1去左兩個大型AI展覽會/研討會，諗住搵啲寫字樓用既AI或者Software。
第一個，喺九龍塘，明明自己早早登記左研討會，另外一個同事就喺研討會早一日先登記，結果佢有得聽，我無得聽，話搵唔到我個record🥺。唔緊要啦，咁咪去行下展位，睇下參展商demo佢地既軟件方案，奇怪點解個demo 窒下窒下，原來主辦方個Wi-Fi塞車，參展商要用自己手機network，偏偏嗰度又收得差，搞到勁尷尬，個參展商好慘🙈。行左15分鐘就撞正導賞團巡場，結果只好草草收集下Brochure就走左。
第二個，喺會展，去到就係機械人、機械人、同埋機械人，好不容易搵到香港展館，裡面全部都係政府show off自己做左咩勁野… 嗯🤔noted with thanks😂 行到去香港兩大創科陣營，有二、三十個software參展，終於搵到2個係香港品牌又做寫字樓用既AI或者software啦！！但係心諗，無理由得咁少架喎，決定再搵！皇天不負有心人，終於喺場地嘅後方深深深深處、厠所隔離見到一啲熟悉嘅logo…
黎緊又有一個大型AI展覽會/研討會，我問AI究竟去定唔去好？
AI答：「建議你調整心態，去展覽不是為了「尋寶」，而是去「拿目錄」。把展覽當成一個運動，目標是拿完 Brochure 就走，可能失望會少一點。」

In Q1 2026, I visited two major AI expos/seminars, hoping to find some AI tools or software suitable for office use.
The first one was in Kowloon Tong. Despite registering for the seminar way in advance, a colleague of mine who only signed up the day before got in, while I was told they “couldn’t find my record.” 🥺 Never mind. I decided to check out the booths instead to see some software demos. Strangely, the demos kept lagging. It turned out the organizer’s Wi-Fi was totally jammed. The exhibitors had to rely on their own mobile data, but the reception there was terrible. It was so awkward; I really felt for the exhibitors. 🙈 After walking around for 15 minutes, I ran into a VIP tour group taking over the floor, so I just hurriedly grabbed some brochures and left.
The second one was at the HKCEC. It was basically robots, robots, and more robots. I finally tracked down the Hong Kong Pavilion, but it was just the government showing off their “achievements.” Well… 🤔 noted with thanks. 😂 I made my way to the two main local I&T clusters where about 20-30 software companies were exhibiting. I finally found two local brands offering office-based AI/software! But I thought, “There’s no way there are only two,” so I kept digging. Heaven rewards the diligent—I finally spotted some familiar logos tucked away in the deepest, deepest corner of the venue… right next to the toilets.
There’s another big AI expo/seminar coming up soon. I asked an AI whether I should go or not.
The AI replied: “I suggest adjusting your mindset. Don’t go to these expos to ‘treasure hunt’; go to ‘collect catalogs.’ Treat it like a workout—make it your goal to grab the brochures and leave. That way, you’ll be less disappointed.”
