Me: 😺 The Boss: 👺
The Boss: My headset isn’t working.
Me: Is it plugged in? Is the power turned on? Are the speakers muted? Does it even have battery?
The Boss: Look, I didn’t touch anything, okay? It was working perfectly fine yesterday.
(I remote into her PC, only to find zero trace of any headset connected.)
Me: What kind of headset are you using anyway?
The Boss: Logitech blah blah blah.
(I do a quick Google search. Turns out it’s a wireless headset that requires a USB receiver.)
Me: Did you plug in the USB receiver?
The Boss: Huh? What’s that?

The Boss: Oh! Wait, is that thing actually useful? I unplugged it so I could plug in my keyboard.
